The Architectural Awards Program is presented by the Architecture Foundation of B.C. (AFBC) with support from the founding organization, the Architectural Institute of B.C. (AIBC). The awards program showcases the best in architecture by Architects AIBC. While honours are given out in a number of distinct award categories, there is one common element: Excellence.

Award Category Description

The Unbuilt Award is an opportunity to bring to light creative technologies, ideas, architecture, planning, interior, or product design projects that have not been built, are not going to be built, or are just ‘not built yet’. This category celebrates concepts or work that may never be realized.
