Event Details

The Access Awards raise awareness regarding the importance of accessibility
and universal design in the City of Winnipeg. They recognize exceptional
projects that highlight universal design through a juried process.

Award Category Description

Physical access awards will be given to constructed projects that
demonstrate excellence in addressing the needs of people with a broad
range of mobility and physical impairments, paying attention to a variety of
details including:
■ Parking
■ Approach & exterior entrances
■ Reception areas
■ Washrooms
■ Ramps
■ Elevators/lifts
■ Egress
