The CaGBC Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to the CaGBC’s mission and goals in advancing the green building industry in Canada. We also strive to showcase the most efficient, effective and impactful buildings across the country with our Green Building Excellence Awards.

Les Prix du CBDCa sont décernés à des personnes et des organisations qui ont apporté une contribution importante à la mission du CBDCa et à ses objectifs de promotion de l’industrie du bâtiment durable au Canada. Les Prix d’excellence en bâtiment durable reconnaissent pour leur part les bâtiments les plus performants au Canada, ceux qui exercent le plus grand impact.

Award Category Description

The Tenant Improvement Award is presented to the team responsible for an outstanding interior space that embraces the philosophy that high-performing green spaces can: create healthy, productive places to work; have a reduced environmental footprint; and, cost less to operate and maintain. This award focuses on the overall positive impact on the occupants’ wellness. Eligible projects must have been completed after January 1, two years prior to award submission. The evaluation will consider: energy and GHG reduction features; occupant health and wellness; water conservation resources; and, innovation.

Le Prix pour les améliorations locatives est décerné à l’équipe responsable d’un espace intérieur remarquable qui adhère à la philosophie voulant que les espaces verts à haute performance peuvent créer des milieux de travail sains et productifs; avoir une empreinte environnementale moindre; et coûter moins cher en frais d’exploitation et d’entretien. Ce prix insiste sur l’impact positif global sur le bien-être des occupants. Les projets admissibles doivent avoir été achevés après le 1er janvier, deux ans avant la date de présentation de la candidature au prix. Les critères d’évaluation sont les suivants : réduction de la consommation d’énergie et des émissions de GES; conservation et utilisation efficace de l’eau; santé et bien-être des occupants; et innovation.
