Event Details

Commemorating achievements in four categories, the annual Heritage Toronto Awards bring together award nominees and city influencers from across its culture, development, and policy-making communities. Highlighted by the Mayor’s Reception and the Awards Ceremony itself, the Awards are attended every year by notable individuals including leaders in the sector and government officials.

Since 1974, we have celebrated individuals, organizations, and the projects they create in order to champion the importance of heritage to city building.

Award Category Description

This category recognizes building owners who have undertaken projects to conserve or adapt a historic property or architectural feature of a historic property within the municipal boundaries of the city of Toronto.
