This award recognizes exceptional architectural innovation. Potential areas for innovation include research and development, applied use of new technology and adaptation of existing technology. Innovation can also be demonstrated by new project delivery and construction methods, advanced design processes and fresh approaches to details and materials.

Ce prix récompense une innovation exceptionnelle en architecture. Les domaines d’innovation peuvent porter sur la recherche et le développement, l’utilisation appliquée d’une nouvelle technologie et l’adaptation d’une technologie existante. L’innovation peut également s’exprimer par un nouveau mode de réalisation de projet, de nouvelles méthodes de construction, des processus de conception de pointe et de nouvelles approches envers les détails et les matériaux.
